Joelle is an endorsed Educational and Developmental Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Joelle believes that the therapeutic relationship is a fundamental part of therapy, and she is dedicated to providing a non-judgemental and safe space where her clients feel listened to, understood, and supported. Joelle is passionate about empowering children and young people, and believes in the importance of recognising each client's unique strengths. Joelle enjoys working collaboratively with her clients using evidence-based practice to tailor interventions to each client's needs and goals.

 

Individual Support

Joelle has experience in supporting clients with a range of presentations including, but not limited to:

  • Anxiety

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Autism

  • Behavioural difficulties

  • Depression

  • Grief and loss

  • Low self-esteem/confidence

  • Parenting support

  • School avoidance

  • Trauma

Assessment

Joelle also supports clients through psychoeducational assessment and is trained to complete assessment for:

  • Adaptive functioning

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Autism

  • Cognitive functioning (including giftedness)

  • Specific Learning Disorder (for example, Dyslexia)
